Cedric Biscay, Producer dell’attesissimo Shenmue 3 assieme a Yu Suzuki, ha confermato con un tweet che il titolo uscirà durante il 2018 su PlayStation 4 e PC. Inoltre il CEO di Shibuya Productions ha affermato che quest’anno sarà ricco di sorprese, probabilmente riferendosi ad annunci futuri di nuovi progetti della compagnia.
