I vincitori dei premi Gamescom 2023 sono stati annunciati nella giornata di ieri, venerdì 25 agosto, durante il Gamescom Studio, condotto da IGN. Il premio Gamescom Green Studio of the Year era già stato dato a Xbox e al CEO Phil Spencer nella giornata di giovedì, durante l’Opening Night Live.
Sia i fan che la giuria del Gamescom si trovano d’accordo: la maggiore vincitrice del Gamescom 2023 è Nintendo. La giuria ha nominato il rinomato gioco action-adventure “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” per i premi Best Audio, Best Gameplay e Most Epic, al tempo stesso nominandolo come Miglior gioco per Nintendo Switch. Sempre di Casa Nintendo, “Pikmin 4” è stato nominato e scelto per il premio Most Wholesome.
Anche quest’anno, come nei precedenti, tra le case più premiate spunta Bandai Namco Entertainment, protagonista dell’evento Best of Show Floor e vincitore del premio Best Announcement grazie a “Little Nightmare 3″, gioco sviluppato da Supermassive Games e pubblicato dalla società giapponese.
Nella battaglia tra Best Microsoft Xbox Game e Best Sony PlayStation Game si è avuto un pareggio tra due picchiaduro: “Mortal Kombat 1” e “Tekken 8“. “Payday 3″ di Plaion, d’altro canto, ha conquistato i premi Best PC Game e Most Entertaining. “Black Myth: Wukong” di Game Science Interactive Technology è stato riconosciuto per le sue Best Visuals mentre thatgamecompany ha celebrato due vittorie per il loro gioco “Sky: Children of the Light“: il premio Best Mobile Game e il tanto discusso Game for Impact.
Quest’anno, la giuria per i premi del Gamescon ha onorato l’iniziativa GAME:IN, la quale promuove uguaglianza e spinge le sue idee contro il sessismo nell’industria videoludica tedesca, attraverso il premio HEART OF GAMING.
