Questa lista è stata scelta da oltre 1.300 professionisti esperti dell’industria dei videogiochi, tutti membri di BAFTA, l’ente di beneficenza per il cinema, i giochi e la televisione. In breve:

Quest’anno i membri del BAFTA hanno preso in considerazione 247 giochi.
Tutti i giochi sono usciti tra il 25 novembre 2023 e il 15 novembre 2024.
Ogni gioco è ora in corsa per almeno una nomination ai BAFTA in 17 categorie competitive.

I membri della BAFTA inizieranno a votare per le nomination nelle categorie Best Game e British Game nel gennaio 2025, mentre le giurie specializzate della BAFTA voteranno per le altre. Le nomination saranno annunciate martedì 4 marzo 2025.

Dopo le nomination, i membri dei BAFTA voteranno per i vincitori delle categorie Miglior gioco e Gioco britannico. Le giurie voteranno per i vincitori di tutte le altre categorie. I vincitori saranno annunciati ai BAFTA Games Awards 2025 martedì 8 aprile.
