Manca poco meno di una settimana al 3 dicembre, l’atteso giorno in cui si svolgerà il celebre Games Awards 2015 e tutti i videogiocatori del mondo sono ormai in fibrillazione per scoprire quale tra i diversi candidati otterrà il titolo di Miglior Videogioco dell’Anno.
Oltre all’ambito riconoscimento sopracitato, diversi candidati andranno a sfidarsi per impadronirsi di primati altrettanto illustri come il “Developer of the Year” o “Most anticipateed game” . Interactive Entertainment) seguiti da Rockstar e Valve ma anche giornalisti esperti nel settore, da Tal Blevins (IGN) a Ben Howard (GameSpot).
Si noti inoltre come, rispetto alle annate precedenti, sia stata dedicata un’intera sezione legata al mondo degli eSports, ossia, giocare videogiochi a livello competitivo organizzato. Ciò mette in evidenza come il mercato dei videogiochi si stia estendendo e sviluppando sempre più rompendo definitivamente gli schemi che si erano prefissati fino a qualche anno fa, estendendosi ad ambiti, come quello dell’eSport, in cui non solo gravitano milioni di giocatori, ma anche milioni di dollari come montepremi.
Ovviamente le sorprese non sono finite qui, poichè iGames Awards 2015, ovviamente, non si limiteranno semplicemente ad assegnare un “premio oscar”, ma sveleranno alcuni dettagli su titoli futuri tra i quali, come già preannunciato da Geoff Keighley, noto giornalista videoludico e presentatore canadese, il nuovo capitolo di una delle serie di successo appartenente a casa Ubisoft: Far Cry Primal.
