Un tweet sul profilo di Nintendo Versus ha annunciato l’arrivo di un evento a tema per Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, che avrà inizio il 13 dicembre e si concluderà il 16 dicembre. Durante questi tre giorni, alcuni spiriti avranno più probabilità di apparire sul Tabellone. Il tema di questo evento riguarda i personaggi muniti di occhiali. Tra coloro che i giocatori potranno sfidare ed ottenere, abbiamo Strangelove da Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Brittany da Pikmin 3, Jeff da Earthbound, Crusty Sean da Splatoon e Cereza da Bayonetta.
